Paul Thompson, Consultant, has over 40 years of experience in manufacturing and business operations with expertise in Lean thinking and enterprise implementation. Building upon his experience as a start-up manager at NUMMI (Toyota’s Joint Venture with GM), he became a leading-edge practitioner of the Toyota Production System. Paul is a former member of the Kaizen Institute and consulted with them for over 10 years. Paul's work has benefited more than 60 companies in industries ranging from automotive, aerospace, electronics, and durable and consumer goods, to food processing and turnarounds in both greenfield and brownfield business expansions.  He has an MBA from the University of Michigan, a BS in Industrial Engineering from Kettering University and holds CPIM certification from APICS. He has spoken at conferences, seminars and educational institutions across the United States.  Paul and his wife live in Northville, Michigan, and worship at Ward Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
